Isaac, then and then and then and then and now

You can see other "then and now"s here and here.
Isaac started off sleeping in a moses basket (which, it you ask me, is one of the best gifts I got at my baby shower.. thanks Morgan!).

You know how moms make those lists of the "Top 5 Things I Couldn't Do Without"? A moses basket is definitely on my list. It was so convenient when we made the long drive out to Texas. It was something that could be moved from room to room with no problem, even while your baby is asleep in it. You can set it up on something or down on the floor. It's light and flexible. We just loved it!

I started taking photos of Isaac in his moses basket from the beginning. I mean, obviously. I was a mother, obsessed with the adorable-ness of her new baby!

A few months later, after he had grown out of it, I decided to put Isaac in it just for fun. I took a few photos and that was that. Then a couple months later I thought it would be fun to try it again. I took a few more photos and decided it would be fun to do this every couple of months to document his growth.

I didn't do it as often as I would have liked. With the next one I'll do it exactly every 2 months. But, I still love the result!

*the 12 month photo was almost impossible to take. Isaac was not having it. He did not want to lay flat on his back for even a second. By the time I was able to focus and click the button, he'd already started making his way out of the basket.

I cannot believe my baby boy is turning ONE this month! I have been so amazingly blessed with this child. He is adored by his mom and dad more than he will ever know. We could not have asked for a more wonderful baby boy.

And with that, we're off to Target today to buy my soon-to-be 1 year old his first birthday present.

Have a lovely weekend!!
