2012 booklist

Each year I compile a booklist. Last year I decided to choose 2 books to read each month instead of having a long list that ends up being unrealistic and exhausting. You can see my 2011 booklist here and how well I kept up with it. In my defense, I had a baby last year.

In addition to a blog post, I also write down all of my books on a list that I keep in my home planning notebook. This year I'm using this list from Money Saving Mom.

This is not a firm list. I usually end up reading books in a different order and sometimes replacing books with others depending what is and is not on my shelf. And I might even join in with the Book Club Bloggers every now and then.

Oh, and you can keep up with my progress here, on goodreads. We can be friends and you can read along with me too!

Nevertheless, it sure makes staying organized and keeping track of what I have read a whole lot easier!

Any books on your list for this year?

  1. Great list - I just got a nook for Christmas, and I need to fill it up with some good reads!

  2. I like this list. I've got some of those on my list, and I've read some of them on your list already. One note about Ina May's book...I tried reading it when I was pregnant and it was very different from what I expected...she's much more of a fruitcake than I am! A little bit on the psycho path. I'm interested to hear what you think of it after you read it.
