This is week 2 of plan it, don't panic.
I didn't join in last week because I was having fun with Fall Fashion Week.
Here's the deal. I don't plan breakfasts and lunches because Ben doesn't eat breakfast during the week, I just eat cereal and Isaac eats fruit and/or oatmeal. I usually just pack Ben a lunch which is almost always a ham sandwich or leftovers. I generally eat leftovers as well. However, this week I've come across some pretty amazing looking salad recipes, so I'll be trying a few of those out:
*Middle Eastern Bean Salad
*Quinoa and Avocado Salad
How we do food:
At the beginning of the month (which is the 24th for us) I plan 4 weeks of dinners. I then make one mass trip to Sam's Club to purchase all of the meat (and other bulk odds and ends we need). I divide it up and freeze it. I also make a mass trip to either Kroger or Albertsons for the dry ingredients for the month and I usually go to Sprouts for produce about once a week.

I decide on recipes based on the season. I have all of my recipes organized by Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. This month is the first month I've pulled out our Fall recipes and I'm so excited!! It's time for soups and stews and squash with pasta. I also have some go-to staples that I can make quick and easy without even thinking (enchiladas, gumbo and pasta with ground turkey). I save those recipes for nights that I'll be going to Bible study or out with girlfriends.
