what i did last night

warning: this post contains more rantings of a soon-to-be mother

We're almost there. As I type, I am 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant. That means baby Isaac could (and hopefully will) make his debut any time! But I'm not so optimistic. I'm thinking he's going to be stubborn (like me) and take his sweet time.. making me more uncomfortable and maybe a little bit grumpier (grumpy? me? no... never :).

Anyways, in the mean time, while I sit and wait I've been trying to figure out what to do. Last night I made 4 more of these burp clothes and I'll probably make some more today:
(my husband was like, "you just made those while I was napping?!" Why yes, yes I did)

I can't help it. They're so easy and simple and cute! And I know they'll come in handy. I hear little boys drool... a lot! To make them you take a cloth tri-fold diaper, cut a piece of fabric a little bigger than the middle pannel, fold all 4 sides of the fabric and iron down, and then sew onto the diaper! Tah-dah:

I've also decided that I'll spend as much time as I can reading. Although I've already finished both of my January book selections. So should I just move onto February? Or should I add in another book? I can't decide! And I certainly don't know what book I would add to the list. I guess I'll figure something out.

And just because I really enjoyed this article about Mormon blogger moms, and this article about 10 Things to Never Say to a Pregnant Woman, I thought I'd share them with you.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

ps- for those of you interested, I went to the doctor this morning. I'm 1 cm dilated, 30% effaced, and he is at -3 station.. which is why I'm not expecting too much excitement this week.
